Wales Real Food and Farming Conference, 23-25 November, Lampeter
Do you care about the future of food and farming in Wales? Then book now for the fourth Wales Real Food and Farming Conference on 23-25 November in Lampeter. Guest speakers Sheila Dillon of BBC Radio 4’s Food Programme, Alun Elidyr the presenter of Ffermio, and author Jon Gower will introduce the Wednesday and Thursday, followed by a full programme of talks, workshops and discussion. There will be over 30 sessions on topics such as agroforestry, local food partnerships, Community Supported Agriculture, school meals procurement, farm profitability, the seeds system, soil science, and systems thinking in education and government. There will also be practical workshops and plenty of time to socialize in the breaks. On the Wednesday night there will be entertainment from Owen Shiers and others, and on Friday there will be field trips.
